Student Visa

My friend came to United States on a student visa. He overstayed the granted duration. During the period of his overstay he also got married to a United states citizen. During his overstay, he never left the country. Please advice on how he should proceed? Thanks.

I-485 Application To Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status
I-765 Application for Employment Authorization.
I-864 Affidavit of Support
G-325A Biographic Information
