What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?Georgia/Oregon

My friend from Georgia went to court and recieved probation for 10 years, and a boot camp sentence of 6 months. He also had a huge sum of money he was meant to pay. He ran away before the sentence was taking place, to Oregon.
And as I understand it.. Oregon can't arrest him and hold him for another states probation. But when we called Georgia His probation officer told us he couldn't do anything and to call the court in his county. When we did that the lady couldn't find any of his papers. So is he free of his probation from moving to Oregon? We would like to find a way to send him back to his sentence because he is messing up in Oregon now. He is back in the drug world of selling and using.

If Georgia will not issue a warrant for his arrest and agree to extradite him, then he is free and clear in Oregon for the time being.

But, if he is on probation in GA and is searchable, a couple calls to the local police in Oregon might be enough to get them to pay a little attention to him using his search conditions as a reason to go take a look at him. But, it will likely take more than a general, "He's using drugs" to get them to take note unless they have already been dealing with him.
