While doing an electrical job at a local motel my girlfriend was attacked by a woman who misidentified her as someone else. she sustained several injuries including a concusion, busted lip, and hurt ribs shoulder and back.
The cops came and arrested the assailant. They told us later that she was arrested only for dissorderly conduct for argueing with cops. She was also charged with battery but they also said that they don't even arrest people for battery only. They siad that battery is only a misdimeanor and the can't arrest anyone for it. Can this be true. If you asault someone you can't be arrested ?
