What is the name of your state? FLORIDA.

Newbie to this site/forum. Not sure if posting this correctly. We reside in FLORIDA, Broward County, Fort Lauderdale.

We have recently had a wood fence constructed around our residential property. All proper permits were pulled, etc.

We have un-neighborly neighbors in the back who are rather unique and cranky at times. They also have an odd approach to landscaping, something akin to a tropical jungle, front and back. Hence the need for the fence.

Question: my wife and I expect them to nail things, pots, etc. on our new fence. We would prefer they not do that as that would expedite the deterioration of the wood over time. Can they do that, nail things on their side of our fence? What does the law say about this issue? WIll the law back us up in a future dispute over this issue?

Thank you in advance for your help and assistance.
