My husband's care plan has failed repeatedly since he left about seven months ago. We have filed papers for a hardship discharge with letters from everyone from my drs to the vp of student life at our university. It has been approved at the brigade level and we are told that it has to go up to Third Army before he can come home. The thing is that my medical conditions are still deteriorating and are requiring longer hospitalizatons. Is there anything that can be done to speed up the process? Also don't discharge packets only have to be signed off at the brigade level normally?
