What is the name of your state? PA

I got a speeding ticket in NJ but I have a PA license. I will be moving to NJ in a few weeks. If I apply for a NJ license will the points be added to my new NJ license?

Most likely, but I can't say for sure.

Often times, the state where you were convicted of the violation will issue you a driver's license number even though you have no official driver's license in that state. The purpose being that they need a way to record and track your violation.

When you apply for a DL in NJ, they will likely issue you the driver's license by using the same DL number as the record created for your violation. As such, your NJ record will show the violation / points.
