What is the name of your state? Maryland
What Legal rights does a Grandparent have in Maryland or where can I find out .
A grandparent has no legal rights of any kind. However if you meet the rules for standing, you may have a statutory ability to petition a court for visitation with your grandchildren.
A search of the statutes for Maryland, on your state government website, should help you find the information you need.
However please realize that grandparent visitation cases are some of the most hostile family law cases out there, and also some of the most expensive. If there is a way to resolve your problem without involving the courts, then that is always the better choice.
