We bought our house in the spring of 1998. After we moved in, we found out that there was a class action law suit against the company who supplied the siding of our home. We were not told this by the sellers or their agent,or by the closing lawyers. The siding is now rotted and falling off the side of our home. We are not allowed to get in on the class action law suit against the company since we bought the house after the deadline. The whole house now has to be re-sided. Our insurance company told us that we have a statute of limitations of 3 years to file suit against someone. We arent sure who we are supposed to be filing a suit against! Does anyone know what we should do at this point?
