What is the name of your state? California

I am a disabled physician, born in 1946 - I have been receiving SSDI for almost 3 years - when will I be eligible to receive my normal SS benefits (the earliest I can receive them) and how will that affect my SSDI monthly payments of approximately $1800.00 a month. Are my SSDI benefits automatically stopped when I receive normal SS benefits? Does my Medicare coverge change at all at that time? Thank you very much.
