I signed a lease/option to purchase agreement with regard to a property that I own and would like to break the agreement.
Is this at all possible to do?

If you are working with a realtor you should ask him/her. Your rights are detemined by the terms of the purchase agreement and there are usually some escape clauses for both parties if some material item was not performed. But you can't simply get out just beacuse you wish you had asked for more money.
