My husbands benefits coordinator stopped the deduction from paychecks at the beginning of December. We did not notice on check stub. We were notified December 20th that if we wanted to catch up that all $700 would have to be taken out by December 31st. That left 1 check for the whole deduction. We had them take it all out in the last check of the year.
Somewhere in the system flexible spending lost information dating back to September (they had no record of deductions from Sept - December)
Bottom line is they have our $700, they have our reimbursement request & receipts, we still have not received our reimbursement. Flexible spending says it is in "research" and they will send our money ASAP. It has been 3 weeks!
Any recourse?
