Does the sheriff notify us before the act to remove our belongings? I do know that no Writ has been filed yet. However when it is filed what is the sheriffs procedure??? Anyone know??Please help with advice, and answers. Thank You Merry Christmas

This varies from town to town and state to state. Call the Sherrif's office and ask nicely.

You can call the Sheriff's offices and ask. They will tell you their exact procedure. You might want to check with a local tenant's rights organization. There are sometimes ways to delay scheduled evictions, such as a stay of execution.
