CA Speeding Ticket Wrong Information

I got a ticket for speeding. The information on my name and insurance on the ticket are both wrong. Is there anyway I could fight this ticket or get it dismissed using the fact that the info was wrong?

It all depends the degree of incorrect information. If it is just a typo or very minor errors in names/addresses = you are probably not off the hook.

Did he just misspell it or was it a completely different name?

I just had a co-worker of mine in CA get a speeding ticket thrown out by the judge (placer county) because the ticket had the wrong violation, wrong color of motorcycle, and the ticket said he has a passenger but the bike is a 1-person bike.
