I'm in Texas. I was pulled over by a municipal police officer who clocked me at 45/30 with stationary radar. He was gunning from a PRIVATE parking lot. He wrote the ticket and then asked if he could search my car. I gave him permission and was placed in the back of his cruiser during the search. On the ticket there are two places where searches are mentioned. Searched: Yes/No and Consensual: Yes/No. He marked "No" to searched.
Is this or the fact that he was gunning from a private parking lot valid reasons to fight the ticket?
Thanks!
