traffic school question

What is the name of your state? FLORIDA

i recieved a citation for driving without headlights on. i have paid the ticket, but now have a suspended licence for not taking the driving course within the alloted time. so here is my question...after paying to have my licence reinstated, will i ever be able to take the driving course to remove those points? and this next question should probably be in the auto insurance forum, but i'll see if anyone knows the answer here...is a citation for driving without headlights going to make my insurance skyrocket as much as, let's say, a speeding ticket?
