i've been visiting the us for many years now on a visitors visa, for the past year i have met the love of my life, and i came back to be with her longer. i'm still legally here, but my question is, can i file for permanent residence if i get married to an immigrant, my girlfriend holds a green card and have yet to file for her citizenship.
when she does file, how long will it take till she gets approved?
