Hello,

Can anyone plz tell me how soon can I start working for the new employeer in case of an h1b transfer - as soon as the employer files the h1 transfer petition or after the receiving the receipt notice from INS?

You can start working as soon as you filoe for a transfer...

You will be able to work for the new employer once you receive the acknowledgment from INS.
