With the new telemarketing law that went into effect, with regards to the
do-not-call - list. In order to receive the numbers from the list a business person in telemarketing MUST PAY FOR THE LIST. However there is no fee for the numbers if you are a not for profit company or IF YOU ARE A TELEPHONE
SURVEYORS. My question is this if I do a campaign asking consumers if their
number is on the no-call -list ONLY, could I be fined ? YES or NO

My guess is YES (hence the term "no call" list.)

But I will wait till someone who really knows this answer comes on here.
