I filed my own case of change of status about 3 weeks ago, but till now, I haven't got the receipt from INS. I am worried about this.
I sent the application fee with only my husband's name on the check, is that ok? I checked our bank statement and found INS already got the money.

Could you tell me how long I can get the receipt from INS? Are there any problems with my situation? Should I call INS now?

I heard you have to wait 1 month before getting your I-751 receipt.

Change of status from what status to what status? On what basis? With what Service Center?
