What is the name of your state? Michigan. On Jan 31 the cops searched my dorm room and gave me a ticket fo possession of marijuana (it was less that an 1/8 of an ounce). I have to go to court on Feb 23. I heard that if you plead not guilty there that someone will give me a lawyer and I will probably get a plea bargain. Is this true? Can you tell me what will really happen if I plead guilty or not guilty? Also will I be provided a lawyer?
