Hi everyone,

I have a question, I hope someone can help me with it. I got my GC in 1998 i was still going to college, in my country of origin, at the time. I finished college in 2000. Then I worked in my country until 2003 when decided to come and live in the US. Thoughout this time ( 1998-2003) i was going back and forth, i used to come once a year ( i never stayed outside the US for more than a year), between by country of origin and the US. Does any of this time count for the 5 year residency requirement? I've been in the US for 18 months now?

Thanks in advance for any assistance

Gus
