Transfer of H1 query-urgent !!!

I am currently working with company A ( NH based company using my L2 EAD (i.e. dependent on L1). My L2 (EAD) is expiring in next two months and I have already got my H1 from company B (NJ based company). I never worked for company B but I would like to transfer this H1 to my current employer A.

1. Is it possible as I never worked with company B ?
2. If Yes, how long transfer process is going to take?
3. What all documents do I need from company B so that I can transfer it for company A ?

You cannot transfer a H-1B if you are not in H-1B status at the time of the transfer request. Why not just extend your L-2 EAD?

It won't be possible to extend my L2 (EAD) as my spouse is going back. Does it mean the only options I have:

1). Go back with my Spouse
2). Work for Company "B" for 1-2 months and then transfer to Company "A". Is one month is enough or there is a minumum duration for which I have to work for Company "B".

Please advise in this regard and also if there is any other option available
