What is the name of your state? Florida

What are the first steps for a girl 18 somewhat abandoned by both parents (illegal as well) to begin process of paperwork to become legal here in the United States? She's been here since she was 1 and attending public school. Graduating this June. Can someone please steer her in the right direction...Appreciate any input.

It all depends on how you and your parents originally entered the country.

I don't know much about it, but there is something called The Dream Act that is currently being talked about (but not officially a law yet). You might want to start researching that if you were brought here illegally as a child.
