I need some advice
What is the name of your state?
I am in California. I was previously married to a man and had two children. When my oldest was 3 and youngest was roughly 6 months old, he abandoned them and moved out of state. The district attorney has caught up with him and I have recieved some support off and on, depending on the length of his employment. I have been remarried now for 3 years. My husband wants to adopt the children. My ex want to sign his rights away. He (my ex) has recently been calling me wanting me to drop the DA case and start the adoption papers. Where do I begin, and what can be done about the back child support owed to my kids?
