I am currently epmloyed and working under OPT status. My opt expires end of june. I want to apply H1 but I have little problem. I have BS degree on faculty of marine. I had worked 2 years as 2nd officer at several merchant ships. Then I decided came here to change my career to a computer programmer. I took UCLA computer programming certificate for 1 year. Now I am programmer at a company. My question is Do I have a chance to have approved for H1 visa? Because there is no direct reletion between my bechelor degree and current job. I heard that it should be a relation. thanks...
