We Live In California. Well My Boyfriend Was Arrest In March 11,2004 For Sales & Distribution Of Marijuana. He Is Serving A 4yr 6 Month Term, He Signed A Deal With The Court For Half Time (rancho Cucamonga Court, San Bernardino County)eligable. He Is Currently As Wasco, Were Apperantly He Will Serve His Sentance,but They Are Saying That He Has To Serve 85% Of His Time, That Hes Not Eligable For Half Time, What Can We Do? His Deal Was With Half Time Eligable? Please Help!!!!!!!!!

4 1/2 years for selling marijuana in California? I don't think so! If that is all he was convicted of, he would be getting half-time. A person must serve 85% of his sentence if his crime of conviction is specified in the list of "violent" offenses in Penal Code section 667.5. Selling marijuana is not in that list.
