Deceased daughter's husband has "pushed" his responsibilities of his son on the maternal family. He has been told the maternal grandmother needs a part time nanny to help with "his child". He refuses it so he won't spend money. The child is very active. Grandma needs the father to at least discipline the child. To teach the child for example not to run around with a pencil in his hand. Grandma is exhausted trying to discipline the child. The "father" blames the grandma when the child grabs a pencil and starts running around with it. I told him he was legally and morally responsible for discipline and the wellfare of his child. He was told a nanny is needed. The maternal family do what they can but the lives of others can not be sacrificed for the negligence of the "father". He has the money for a part time nanny at least. And the money he spends on his annual two month trips to another country, and his two week, one week here and there vacations annually. The "father" is neglecting his responsibilities and placing the wellfare of the child in jeopardy.

Any feedback would be appreciated.
