What is the name of your state? California

I own a townhome and the board of directors of the housing association are conducting inspections of the garages. The inspections are to make sure there are no hazardous materials being stored and to see that 2 vehicles are being parked in the garage. Do they have a legal right to inpect my garage?

**A: yes and read your CC&R's. The HOA has a legal right to inspect any part of the common and limited common areas. And even your own townhome unit.
