What is the name of your state? North Carolina
I have several Lots that are only accessable via an unopened road/ROW.
The ROW was dedicated as a city street when the subdivision was created in the early 20's. The road was never open due to the fact that there were no developed residences on it.
The road is shown on city maps and surveys and is also named. The city has stated in a letter to me that they have "no interest" in this road at this time and are not willing to be involved in any dispute.
I am now ready to develope these lots by building a residential home. My neighbors are blocking my access and claiming I have no right to drive onto my property.
I have asked my neighbors to please move thier vehicles but they have refused.
Can I leagally have thier vehicle towed at thier expense?
Please help.
