What is the name of your state? Philadelphia, PA

Hello, I am a college student in my third year and have a full scholorship to the university. My question while filing my taxes is that I am asked if I can be claimed as a dependant? My parents have not supported me in the last two years as I work part time during the school year and full time during the spring/summer.

I heard that to be a dependant they must supply 70% of my support. Is this true? Are there any other relavent readings I should look at? Thank you for your time.

They must supply 50% of your support, and you must still consider their house your permanent residence when not at school.
