What is the name of your state? New York

My question is i just went to court and pleaded guilty in Possession of Marijuana. 221.05 i believe. Well i was told it is a violation but how long does a violation stay on your record?

Unless you have some type of arrangement to expunge the conviction in a specific time, your conviction will stay on your record forever.
