What is the name of your state? Ma.
I am in the process of selling a structured annuity for a lump sum. I will be using the money to pay off my house. Is there anything I can do to minimize the tax that I will owe on this?

What is the annuity for? Was it for compensatory or punitive damages in a lawsuit?

Sorry for the delayed response. I am selling a lottery annuilty. It has 8 years left and I am selling it for a lump sum upfront of .70 on the 1.00
