What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? California

I went today to the District Court in order to file a lawsuit (over $5,000 which seems to be the limit for small claims) and mine is over $ 25K, and I was told by the clerk that I had all forms by I needed to provide the claim papers. I read that is related to to the Notice that is requested for G'ment lawsuits. A counsel I talked before going there told I just needed the forms but he was wrong. What is exactly the "notice" and where I can find help to do it?
