What is the name of your state?Maine..Hello,
I am in need of some assistance/information regarding a support
issue in Maine. I found out over a year ago that is was the father of a
13-year-old child. I was put through the process and now pay an excessive
amount of child support for this child. The mother of this child never had
let me know that I was the father anytime over the 13 years. She was married
to another man and prior to me finding for 10 plus years until she divorced.
At this time she went on welfare and was required to find the blood father.
I have done some research and come to find out that I may be able to go
after the man whom acted as the child's father for the support of this
child. Is this something you feel can be fought and won? I hope you can help
me with this situation. Please contact me via this email address with your
thoughts or if you would like to speak via the phone that can be arranged.
Thank You, Vburns
