What is the name of your state? Oklahoma

Isn't against the law? I recd cert. letter 7/15/03 my position had been
elimated. I was inventory control of a company. Another person was let go
on work comp last summer, she was told downsizing, she was the buyer.

You can't be fired in retaliation for having a WC claim but your job certainly can be eliminated if that would have happened regardless of your WC status.

OP, your additional post didn't add anything to the discussion. Read Beth's response again. Since the letter stated the position you had held was eliminated, is it probable that this would have happened whether or not you were on Work Comp. Therefore, the termination would not be illegal.

OP, if you are under the impression that it is illegal to fire an employee who is on workers comp for ANY reason, you are mistaken.
