You ask that she be imputed an income that she is capable of earning. Same as if an NCP quit to lower CS.

Alabama Rule of Judicial Administration 32, which governs the calculation of child support. If the CP has no income-your child support payments will more than likely decrease.

For example, if the NCP has monthly income of $2000.00 and CP has $0.00 factoring in $0.00 for day care and $0.00 for health insurance. The total amount of child support due to CP would be $50.00 per month.

If the NCP has monthly income of $2,000.00 and CP has monthly income of $1,000.00 per month factoring in $0.00 for day care and $0.00 for one health insurance. The total amount of child support due to CP would be nearly $300.00 per month.

There are factors which will increase or decrease your child support obligation.
