What is the name of your state? Texas

I am wanting to know if it is possible to adopt with a felony DWI on your record? The birthmother has specified that she wants me to adopt her child--she is in Federal Prison--the DWI was 2 years ago--but it just now went to court in January. Also, she does not know who the father is--and has 1 sister who does not want the baby.

Does anybody have any advice?
