I have a small busines and am interviewing and find that a persona does not really have the degree they say they have. Do I have any legal rights against them?

You can refuse to hire them for falsifying their application.

What are you looking for here? You would have no legal recourse against them because you have not suffered any damages.

You can refuse to hire them. If you have already hired them, you can fire them. In both cases, the grounds would be falsification of their application.

But if you are asking, can you sue them, or something like that, no, you can't. As Patty said, you have not suffered any damages.
