Around three months ago a friend and I were arrested for a retail theft. We bailed ourselves out. A month later we had our court date and it was a no charge. A week or two later I got my bail back but my friend did not.
I looked up some information about bail online and from what I read it seems that you only get bail back when the case is closed. Is that how it is? Seeing how my friend has yet to get his back is his case still open? Any information would be appreciated.
