What is the name of your state?Missouri

My mother called me last night to ask me about this letter she got from her employer. He moved the company from Kansas To Missouri so the state of Missouri gave him a tax credit as well as the employees. My mother is a missouri resident. She said it is not on a form just a letter stating based on her salary last year she can take a tax credit of almost $500 (it has a specific amount on it but I can't remember it down to the cents). It said it was because of "economic redevelopment district"

Has anyone heard of this? Does anyone have more details?
