What is the name of your state? Delaware. Our son had almost a two year relationship with his best friend's fiance. She became pregnant but has claimed that the child was her fiance's (they - the best friend and his fiance -have since gotten married). The child is almost 4 years old and is the splitting image of our son. Can we order a paternity test to find out if our son is the father?

You have no legal standing. In fact, unless your son files a claim for visitation and/or custody and is able to prove a link between himself and the girl (and not just his word) then he'll have a hard time getting a judge to order a paternity test.

Nope

Grandparents can not file for a paternity test. In fact, if the girls husband is listed on the birth certificate, then it's unlikely your son can either.
The girl would have petition the court for this and it's possible a Judge won't allow it at all since the husband has been raising the child as his own.

Leave it be.
