What is the name of your state? PA. I posted this case scenario back in Nov and received some great feedback. Daughter received citation for underage consumption in 11/2004 at college party. Was scheduled for magistrate hearing in 01/2005. Officer withdrew charges 15 minutes before court time. Received notice that officer refiled charges and new hearing scheduled for 03/2005. Received notice that officer couldn't make 03/2005 date and now have a 05/2005 hearing date. Isn't there something about a "speedy trial"? Is there a time limit for completing a hearing on a citation? Thanks.
