What is the name of your state? Ohio

In ohio can officer that isn't in uniform, in bar ask for your id or how do they have to go about it and what are your

Also is it legal for an officer that is undercover to be consuming alcohol in a bar in ohio or was just a case of an officer that can't get away from his job.

Yes and if the officer is off-duty he can drink standing on his head. His being out of uniform is no excuse to drink underage.
