What is the name of your state?Pennsylvania

I (allegedly)stole 2 beers from a bottle shop late on a Thurs. night. After walking across the street I was tackled by an employee, thrown to the ground, and I gave the bottles back. 2 hours later an officer called my cell phone and continued to call throughout the night. I was cited with retail theft, and was in the hospital getting X-rays and a neck brace put on for 2 weeks. I have a court date on Friday. I have 3 possible witnesses. What do I do?

as in is it worth even fighting--was the guy tackling me illegal?
The cop called me back eventually from inside my house while no roomates were there. Paraphernalia and a box of cigars and other stuff is now missing. He hasnt mentioned anything about it since that night. Can he bring those things up in court?

Yes. The owner of the property you tried to steal has a right to protect HIS property.

Yep.
