Question about Rights

Ok, guys I have a question regarding my rights and laws.

Ok, so about a year ago these girls sent me and my friend naked pictures. No one forced them to or anything, it was out of their free will. Well, that friend and I have distributed them to people around school. Can they legally do anything to us? The school says that they have been seeking legal advice on this matter, can the girls parents charge me for distributing?

You are in possession of what can be considered child porn and then you distributed it! Can you say, "Felony"?

It doesn't matter. The law generally doesn't concern itself with HOW you gfot them, only that you possesed them. And once you passed them off to others you entered into a whole new realm of felonious activity.

Don't whine to me, I didn't make the law! I only enforce it.

Arguing that they sent it you is about as effective in court as saying that you didn't know a girl's age when you had sex with them. And in my state, even the fact that you might be under 18 you could still be charged with unlawful sexual intercourse for having sex with a minor.

The state. Who do you THINK prosecutes people? And if the school knows, they are almost certainly required by law to report it to the appropriate authorities.
