What is the name of your state? Pennsylvania
We purchased 10 acres about 9 years ago, in a very
rural area, and we stay to ourselves. We like it this way;)
We don't talk to or visit our neighbors, but we are friendly
and wave, and have helped them when we see they need
something, are stuck or broken down, or animals got loose.

We are now having problems with one of the neighbors
who seems to think he can bully people into selling him
their land to increase his spread.

This neighbor's harassment of us has made us seriously
consider a stockade fence. For now, at least, I want to
place up no tresspassing signs, because we have caught
them on our property nosing around.

Is there a law on how far apart signs are to be posted?

If we do put up a stockade fence, does it have to be so far
off the roadway and property lines? As far as I know there
are no easements along the property lines. There is currently
an electric fence along most of the property, anout 2 feet
off the dirt township road's edge. Could a stockade fence go
right on that line as well?

In case you are wondering, this neighbor's behavior is why
I am not interested in even considering the power easement
in my other post. I am also hoping that poor new couple
doesn't think the no trespassing signs are because they are
moving in.

A very good source in any state for fencing and trespassing laws is the Farm Bureau. Ask them.
