What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? illinois

A friend of mine is currently on probation for distributing steroids. he has cleaned up his act, however the other day his father decided to go through his duffle on a whim(he was living with him), and discovered a very small amount of pills that had been there for a while, and were forgotten. he then turned the entire duffle bag in to the police, who are now testing everything in the bag. with the way this was handled in mind(bag wasn't in his posession, and was simply turned in by someone claiming it was his)...what happens from here? will he be arrested once the testing is done? he's worked really hard to turn his life around, will this ruin him?

Who knows? If they decide that dad's testimony that the bag was his son's is sufficient, they might go for it. But it also depends on what else is found in the bag. I fitems in the bag defintely belonged to the son then it makes the case stronger. If the bag was found in an old storage unit that hadn't been touched in a year then it makes the case weaker.

Nobody can answer your question without a crystal ball.
