If I want to grant a neighbor an easement which would allow vehicular access and would allow him to run underground power and phone line across my property to his, would I need the permission of my mortgage company in order to grant that easement? There is access to his property via another route but it would be expensive for him and would ruin my view. I don't want to sell him a part of my properety either.
