What is the name of your state? Massachusetts

I owned a property for five and decided to refinance with my fiancee. Within three months of refinance he left and never made a single payment of taxes, mortgage etc. I have cancelled checks for all the payment since the loan inception. How hard is it to partition the property into my name only?

You do not say, but I will assume for the purposes of answering this question that you conveyed some interest in the land to bad person.

If that is true, then hire a lawyer to file a partition (forced sale) lawsuit. The court will then have the property assessed and you can buy it back at the auction at the courthouse steps.

The price will be (at least) the full amount of the mortgage due on the date of the auction, plus lawyer and court fees, plus any other liens or whatever.
