My neighbor and I own a private road and the town has the right of way to access the sand pits behind our properties. They do not maintain the road, and the ammount of sand spilled from the sand trucks exacerbates my daughter's athsma. The town even goes so far as to wash the sand off of their street sweepers on our road, and leaves the sand there. My neighbor is elderly, and has respiratory problems. Our lawns are ruined from the sand, and we can't let our children out to play because of the trucks speeding up and down our small road. Is there any way to block the town's right of way??
